I'm a dedicated martial artist with extensive experience in various disciplines, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido, Judo, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Wrestling.

I'm proud to have achieved the rank of Gracie Allegiance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, NZJJF Sport Ju-Jitsu Competition Black Belt, IJF Judo Yellow Belt, and IMMAF Mixed Martial Arts Blue Belt.

I have also achieved significant competitive success, including being an ISJA Grappling World Champ in 2006, 7x NZJJF Ju-Jitsu NZ National Champ, and the recipient of the 2007 Junior Maori Sportsman of the Year award at the Taranaki Maori Sports Awards.

I began coaching BJJ to adults in 2004, contributing to the growth of the club and delivering fundamental programs to new students.
As the team expanded, I assumed increasingly important responsibilities, ultimately being promoted to senior coach for the adults classes, where I delivered BJJ, MMA, and self-defence programs.
I also managed and operated the BJJ Taranaki Club's kids program from 2007 to 2009, developing it into a financially self-sustaining venture with a formalized grading structure, team uniforms, in-house tournaments, and team bonding activities.
I demonstrated effective leadership and organizational skills, and in 2008, I travelled nationwide with my father to promote BJJ and expand the club, participating in workshops, teaching classes, and competing in competitions.
